Cielo is a 1998 mare by 1982 Belmont Stakes winner Conquistador Cielo. She started 18 times and won twice between 2000 and 2001. In 2016, in her late teens and blind in her left eye, she was saved from a kill pen by good friends of Foxie G. Unfortunately, little is known about Cielo’s life between the track and her rescue, but she patiently waits for attention and is kind to all her friends (she even sometimes lets them share her feed).
