Toby is a very old, Thoroughbred gelding that we pulled from the slaughter pipeline. We have yet to be able to determine his registered name but do know he was a stunning gelding back in a better time of his life. Emaciated and very sick with an upper respiratory infection, we were not sure Toby would survive his ordeal of going though auction and landing in a kill pen. We are starting to see flashes of this gorgeous boy’s feisty and free-spirited personality as he returns to good health.
