This sweet, but tough, little filly outran her modest pedigree earning $270,000 in 63 starts while competing for 6 years. Indy only cost $13,000 as a 2-year-old racing prospect. She suffered a broken sesamoid in her last start and shortly after that, developed laminitis in her opposing front foot before coming to Foxie G to recover. There were many days that we thought Indy might not recover from her injuries, but she never gave up, nor could we. Now the leader of her small group, one of her favorite pastimes is to take the brushes out of our grooming boxes one by one and toss them around her paddock, especially when there are mud puddles nearby.
