Zappie is a handsome gelding who tried hard on the track with earnings of over $86,000. He suffered a severe, career ending, sesamoid injury which has healed but he should not be ridden any longer due to advanced arthritis and soft tissue damage. He has adapted well and can often be seen enticing his buddies to play.
