Bay Bay is an unraced mare whose sire is multiple graded stakes winner (Preakness, Belmont) Afleet Alex. She was adopted from Foxie G in 2013 and became a very nice show horse, but she unfortunately suffered a serious tendon injury while loading onto a trailer. After having major surgery, her adopter could not keep her any longer and Bay Bay was returned to Foxie G. She finished her rehabilitation at the rescue, but, although she is pasture sound, she could not stay sound enough to be considered for adoption. With an expressive personality, Bay Bay is a little headstrong from time to time and definitely lets you know what she does or doesn’t like.
