Monetary Donations
Donations are always needed to cover the cost of feed, hay, dewormers and veterinary services. This applies to not only the horses in our care, but the cats and farm animals as well. Many of our horses are on full stall rest until their injuries heal. On average the monthly cost for one of these horses just to cover feed and hay is $620. They often are on stall rest for 3 to 6 months adding up to $3,720 per horse.

Feed and Hay
Our feed supplier is Southern States in Mt. Airy, MD (301- 831-7600). They will gladly add any donation amount to a gift card that we can use for our weekly feed order. We are also part of the Southern States’ SHOW program and can accept the proofs of purchase from all Southern States brand feeds. Proofs can be mailed, dropped off or we can organize a pick up depending on your location. Square and round bales of horse quality hay are also accepted.
Supplies
Dewormers, leather halters, waterproof turnouts during cold months and vaccines are needed for our current horses and new arrivals. Cat litter, towels, blankets, carriers and large dog crates are needed for our cats and kittens.
